Bas-relief is a type of relief sculpture where the figures or designs are sculpted so that they project only slightly from the background surface. We often cast the finished pattern in plaster, Jesmonite or cold pour bronze.

Jesmonite is a versatile, non-solvent based material which can take exceptional detail. The resulting casts are heavy, matt and cool, akin to stone or plaster.
